Kyle Edmund's first US Open ended in a crushing defeat by Novak Djokovic here last night but the 21-year-old Briton was taking only encouragement from his achievements at the tournament.Edmund, who was beaten 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 in just an hour and 55 minutes, was the first British man other than Andy Murray to reach the fourth round here for 12 years and will jump around 30 places next week from his current position at No84 in the world rankings."I learned a lot from tonight," Edmund said.
