Two Iowa men's tennis players, Jake Jacoby and Jason Kerst, were recognized by the International Tennis Association for their academic achievement in the 2016-17 season. Women's tennis team earns academic honors for 3rd straight year

2017 ITA Women's Academic AwardsThe ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or better on a 4.00 scale. The Hamilton College women's tennis team and three of its players have been rewarded for academic accomplishment as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2017 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes. The Hamilton women earned the team award for the third straight year under head coach Rob Barr. All varsity letter winners were factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year. Jane Haffer '19 (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany HS), Claire Keyte '17 (New York, N.Y./Trinity School) and Samantha Weeks '19 (Tacoma, Wash./Annie Wright School) collected scholar-athlete honors.
